Well, I know I haven't been here in a really long time but now I want to update you guys on how everything for the big day is coming along. The date is April 25!
I have a dress! It's very long in the back which i love! That's probably my favorite thing about it. It has lace on the top and outlining the bottom. I want to put a pic of it on here but I don't want Matt to cheat and look. I have bought my vale. I wear it around the house I love it so much. If my dress wasn't still being made i would wear it too. But not infront of Mattie, no way jose!
I have my beautiful bridemaids dresses picked and ordered! The girls looked beautiful! Check them out.http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=834d9e95-5b0c-4f12-a536-2f713f15fb43&categoryID=772f03c9-de43-4942-bfa0-da77e21ebd65&pg=4
My colors are black and white by the way. My goal is classy and very elegant. I want it to look like a rich wedding but not have to spend money like it's a rich wedding. The only color will be red flowers. Hopefully roses. They are kind of pricey I hear so only if the budget allows.
I am booking a church on Monday. It's the Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. My parents found it for me. Matt and I went to check it out last week and I walked in and immediately was saying "no". After my mom got there to show me around it began to grow on me real quick. The sanctuay is huge (sits 800) and has a gorgeous organ (but I don't want that playing but my mom is on a mission to change my mind on that). Matt stood at the altar and I pretended like I was walking down the aisle. My tummy was in the biggest knots ever! Good knots though. The bridal room is huge which was a big plus for me. And as for where we would have the reception, the atrium has windows everywhere. It would be so beautiful at night. My mom already bought 30 things of Christmas lights to use. It's going to look amazing...my mom has such a great nack for this sort of thing.
I have checked out Alex Ham for photography. He is available for April 25. Thank you Jesus! I really didn't think he would be open giving that the wedding is 3 1/2 months away. I haven't booked him yet but I'm pretty sure he will be the one taking pics. There is a photographer here in Wylie (the small town where I live for those of you who didn't know) that does great work. He is going to do my bridals and the engagement pictures. There is a beautiful victorian style house in downtown Wylie that I want to take my bridals at. There is a huge wrap around porch and a gazebo in the back. And for the engagement pictures I want them taken where Matt asked me to marry him, at the gazebo in Highland Park.
As of right now that is about it. I'm about to look at some cakes online. That is my next project. The ball is finally rolling. I can do this. I'm sort of in a time crunch but it will all get done. I have faith.

I have faith too, sweet moo. I'm so happy to read your blog. Everything sounds so lovely. the dress, the veil, the victorian house, the GAZEBO! that made me tear up! I got a picture of the atrium at night! It is going to be so beautiful. how could it not be with a gorgeous bride and groom so much in love. I am so happy! Tell your mom I'll help anyway she wants me too.
Those bridesmaids dresses are absolutely gorgeous! Too bad they won't be as pretty as the bride though.... =)
(No offense to any of the bridesmaids!)
i cannot wait for this special day. you are a beautiful sister and i know your wedding day is going to be beautiful!
love you!
those are GORGEOUS bm dresses! i love that. so unique. perfect.
i wanted to tell you about the roses... you can DEFINITELY have red roses if you want. you can order them from sam's or costco for $14.99 for 24. that would make your bouquet, and one of those would make at least two bm bouquets. then you can decorate with them too. TOTALLY affordable. i have a costco membership, and i can call and order them for you if you want. it's real easy and amazingly less expensive than getting them from a florist.
you'd just have to find someone to arrange them for you.
my mom is good at that... like, professional quality.
love you!
Sounds beautiful cousin! And the dresses are aweseom...I think we might have some of the same tastes in things.
Good job though...sounds like everything is coming along.
I'm really very happy for you! My plans are coming along as well. I don't have a place/date for sure yet, but I'm narrowing down and getting close. I'll keep you posted...and then you'll have to give me all sorts of good married-woman tips since you'll have been married like 5 months by the time I get hitched :)
Ok, when you get back from your honeymoon you'll have to start writing in your blog more often! I've not been good about staying on top of mine, but I'm hoping to get better about it :)
